Based on my passed experience I very recently started the Service2Fruit initiative. I just joined Service2Fruit Nederland BV that employs e-commerce specialists and specialists in the fruit and vegetable trade.

Service2Fruit is a trade solution provider that will enable professional producers, traders, sellers and buyers in the international fruit and vegetable market to migrate to an e-commerce business-model. For that purpose Service2Fruit is introducing an active trading and services approach that is an evolution of the existing trade in the fruit and vegetable market.

Prior to my current job, I worked for GlobalCollect Services BV from 2008 until 2011. GlobalCollect is a leading international Payment Service Provider, offering an unrivaled portfolio of payments methods used by major e-commerce merchants worldwide. I worked as a Vice President where I, next to arranging new payment methods for e-commerce merchants in Europe, arranged and exploited new payment methods in the global emerging economies (BRIC countries). In this role I made a significant contribution to the international payment portfolio making GlobalCollect a true international player in e-commerce payments.

Before joining GlobalCollect I worked for CMG (later called CMG Wireless Data Solutions and LogicaCMG Wireless Solutions and today called Acision) from 1991 until 2008, a leading provider of mobile messaging and data solutions. Here I was active as a Director being an early pioneer in the area of value added Mobile Internet Services. I significantly contributed in building and maturing the (internet) data solutions division of CMG from a commercial and technical perspective.

I started my career at Océ Nederland BV where I worked from 1987 until 1991. I have been active in various ICT engineering and project management positions with a high focus on international projects and participations.
